About Marisa
Relatable, funny and, above all, inspiring, Marisa is an internationally known keynote speaker and coach who helps individuals uncover their unique talents, abilities and gifts to pursue a career that they truly love. Her goal is to help individuals walk away with concrete new ideas, and actionable steps to move forward. Marisa shares her story in a way that is very easy to connect. She does not say, “I’m perfect, my life is perfect, everything is going to be fine.” Instead, she shows all the steps, including the hard steps, while keeping the audience laughing.
Though Marisa has a traditional background, she now lives a non-traditional life. After graduating with Honors from The Ross School of Business at The University of Michigan, and working as a brand manager at PepsiCo for 6 years in NYC and LA (executing partnerships with celebrities such as Sofia Vergara, Snoop Dogg and Beyonce), Marisa quit her high paying job in 2014 to try her hand at entrepreneurship while traveling the world full-time. She’s now traveled to over 55 countries while pursuing meaningful work.
